Application cookies

The QuiltMetrix application does not set cookies or include advertising or third-party analytics code in this version. The site is publicly accessible without a QuiltMetrix account. The hosting platform may use its own storage for security; this statement applies to the application itself.

Browser storage for saved plans

Choosing “Save on this device” stores measurements and a unit preference in local storage on this browser. On your next visit, the relevant tool reads that saved plan. Saving is optional and the calculators work without it.

• quiltmetrix-v1-backing: the saved backing measurements.
• quiltmetrix-v1-binding: the saved binding measurements.
• quiltmetrix-v1-border: the saved border measurements.

Each saved plan stays until overwritten, deleted by you, or removed by your browser. There is no automatic expiry. It is not synchronised between devices or sent to an application database.

Delete your saved plans

This button removes all three saved plans from this browser. It does not clear a form already open in another tab or hosting authentication data. You can also remove site data through your browser settings.

Future advertising

If advertising or analytics is introduced, this notice and the necessary consent controls must be updated before those services are enabled.
